What can I bring to the Big Apple?

What can I bring to the Big Apple? I am visiting New York in June.

June is a fabulous time to visit the “Big Apple”! The temperature in June is usually in the mid 70’s but can climb higher or drop lower. Check the weather for the week you will be visiting.

Sightseeing, visiting museums, walking the High Line, visiting the new Barry Diller/Diane von Furstenberg, Little Island, and going to the theatre are popular activities in NYC.

The world has become very casual. New Yorkers wear pants, shorts skirts and dresses in the summer. Bring comfortable clothing in cotton or linen and comfortable walking shoes/sneakers that are  good for sightseeing and visiting museums. A couple of dressier tops and shoes for evening theater or special restaurant dinners.

If you are planning to attend a special event for a wedding, graduation, etc. plan to have an outfit for that. Bring a coverup, hat and umbrella to be safe.

Big Apple essentials are sunscreen, sunglasses and a mask (for when/if you need it).
