Taylor Swift was born in 1989 in Pennsylvania. She was named after singer, songwriter, James Taylor. At age 9 Swift became interested in musical theater. She also traveled regularly to New York City for vocal and acting lessons and began professional songwriting at age 14.
Taylor is not an overnight success! She has been performing and song writing for 25 years. She writes all of her own songs too.
Currently she is on her 6th concert tour. The 2023 Eras Concert Tour is a journey through the musical eras of her career (past and present!). Fans get to enjoy three solid hours of pure Taylor, featuring songs that span her 17 year-long career and all 10 of her albums, complete with matching bejeweled costumes! She’s also added in two surprise songs for each gig.
