Not only is it a modern look, the bold color adds a POP of color to what you are wearing. The modern woman wears contrasting colors, textures and patterns at the same time. A brown dress might look awesome with an orange or yellow purse and nude color shoes. With a navy blue dress or suit you can wear a navy patent bag and green or crimson color shoes.
