How can I secure a scarf in place?

How can I secure a scarf in place? I like wearing a scarf around my back and take one end and flipping it over my shoulder-but I have the hardest time trying to keep it secure.

Secure a scarf with a brooch. Flip the longer end of the scarf over your shoulder and pin a brooch high up on your shoulder. You may have to catch the fabric of what you are wearing with the pin. You will want to experiment to find the best placement for a brooch. Some fabrics such as silk may be difficult to secure with a brooch if not attached to what you are wearing. A long scarf in a heavy fabric will stay in place easier when thrown over the shoulder. The weight of the fabric helps to secure it.

Another way to secure a scarf is to tie a scarf around your neck then move the knot near your shoulder then flip one end of the scarf over your shoulder.

A scarf ring is another great idea. Once you have the ring on the scarf put one part over your shoulder.

There are a number of great scarf videos on youtube that you can have fun watching and get many ideas of ways to wear them.
