Can I wear a white playsuit to a wedding?

Can I wear a white playsuit to a wedding? Can I wear a white playsuit to a wedding? I a going to my cousin’s wedding and I found this really nice white playsuit with a lace pattern on the chest. I absolutely love it but feel like I can’t wear it as it’s a wedding and my outfit is white. Is there something I can do to still be able to wear the playsuit and not cover up the design at the top.

A playsuit is a piece of clothing consisting of a top part joined to short or long trousers. A white playsuit is not appropriate for a wedding. Fashion rules have loosened up considerably but white is not an option or acceptable for wedding guest. Adding a colored accessory such as a belt or jewelry does not change the fact that your outfit is white. Go to plan “B” and if you want to wear a playsuit choose a color that flatters your skintone and hair color and one with long trousers. A playsuit with shorts is not in good taste for a wedding guest.

How can I tell what colors flatter my skintone?
The best way to find colors that flatter your skintone and look good on you is to experiment. Try putting different colors next to your face and checking the mirror. If you feel that your face is glowing you know that the color is good for you. If you look tired when you put a color next to your face. Avoid that color. In general females with light skin look good in jewel tones, pastels, camel, dark grey. If you have medium color skin look at metallic, neon colors and light greys. Dark skin women look great in bold colors, reds and pastels. Color is power; it implies energy and a youthful attitude.

Are pantsuits / jumpsuits still fashionable?
Pantsuits / jumpsuits are ‘in style” if they are flattering on you. From your description your halter pantsuit sounds very dressy.  It would probably be perfect for festive occasions when cocktail attire is appropriate.
