What to wear on Thanksgiving Day?
Casual Chic

On Thanksgiving Day more families are getting together than last year. Wearing masks around children and others not vaccinated is still very important.

Look for something in your closet that makes you feel good and looks good on you. A comfortable, colorful dress, skirt or pants and top will be sure to lift your spirits.

Adding an accessory to one of your favorite classics will give you a new outfit or can ramp up your style. A  scarf, and/or a great piece of jewelry or a hair ornament will add some variety to what you are wearing on Thanksgiving Day.

There is nothing more comfortable than your favorite leggings. Try combining them with a different top. Chunky sweaters, tunic tops, or blazers would all be great and be stylish outfits on Thanksgiving day.

Denim is another favorite in most women’s wardrobes today. Wear something that feels comfortable in denim or add an accessory in denim such as a belt.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

What can I wear to my new mother-in-law’s for Thanksgiving?
New Mothers-in-law’s Thanksgiving dinners are very special. Unless a dress code is specified wear something that you would wear to a nice restaurant. Something on the conservative side is always a no-brainer. Today young women dress much more casual, than their mother and mother-in-laws did 20 years ago. However, a Thanksgiving dinner at your new Mother-in-law’s is an opportunity to show your respect by wearing something in good taste. A casual style dress or jean style pants in a color or dressy fabric like velvet or leather is very appropriate to wear to your new Mother-in-law’s for Thanksgiving. With the right accessories, all are good choices.

(Absolutely no torn, ripped, or distressed jeans.)
