Is a leather clutch appropriate for an evening bag? Having trouble finding an evening bag big enough for my accessories.
A leather clutch is appropriate for an evening bag. The most important features in an evening bag are 1. size, something small and 2. something with room enough to hold your basic necessities (lipstick, comb, glasses, keys, phone and a credit card). That being said there are many different styles of leather clutch bags.
When choosing a leather clutch for evening think simple style. You might want to have several clutch bags in your wardrobe that you can use for different evening events. Silver, gold and black leather clutches are basic and will work with almost any evening outfit. You can have a simple black bag with some black beading or sequins if you want something that looks more dressy. A colored leather clutch will add a POP of color to an outfit. Simple style clutches will work day or evening so they are great investments.
