Athleisure is definitely not dead. Reason #1 is that athleisure clothing is comfortable to wear and women want to be comfortable today. Fabrics in athleisure clothing move with your body because they usually have some stretch in them. Reason #2 they work for casual such as grocery shopping or to more dressed up venues. Wear with heels, a dressy top and add some jewelry and your set for a dinner out. Wear with sneakers and a “T-shirt for casual. Reason #3 Athleisure clothes are easy to care for and therefore make great travel clothing.

The challenge is to find styles that flatter your body type. Most athleisure brands have a number of styles to choose from. If you can try on a number of styles from different brands you can find some pieces that are flattering on you.
