Happy hour is usually rocking in NYC but most people are coming from their work place and will be wearing their work clothes during the week. For your job interview you will probably be wearing something tailored, such as a classic dress or separates with a jacket. If you are wearing separates you might want to wear a silk shell under your jacket that you can remove at happy hour. Bring a piece of statement jewelry, earrings or necklace that you can put on after the job interview (things you would not wear to an interview). If you have long hair and are wearing it in an updo you can let it fall down and you will have a more casual look.
