Can I wear a gray or silver clutch with nude heels?

Can I wear a gray or silver clutch with nude heels? I’m wearing a raspberry colored dress for an event this weekend and I was originally going to pair it with nude heels and a gold clutch. I recently had an ankle injury so I ordered a pair of nude foldable flats to put in my bag just in case. Here’s the problem: my gold clutch is quite small and the ballerinas don’t fit in it. I do have a gray and a silver clutch which are both big enough to fit the flats in. My question is: could I still wear my nude heels or would I have to wear black ones?

A gray or silver clutch might work with your raspberry color dress and nude heels if you wear silver or pewter jewelry, gray pearls or silver and sparkly (diamond or rhinestone) jewelry. The silver, pewter, pearl, rhinestone or a combinations of these would tie in with a gray or silver bag. Today many stylish women wear different color purses and shoes together.  You have to try your outfit on with your accessories and see how the outfit looks. If it flatters you go for it! If you have any doubt or feel uncomfortable wearing it all together wear black shoes and carry a black clutch.
