Are cropped black pants & a blouse appropriate for a rehearsal dinner?

Are cropped black pants and a blouse appropriate for a rehearsal dinner? My blouse is a “vintage” DVF, flowy blouse that is orange/white & black. The dinner is in the Hamptons, temp 60 degrees. The dress code is “comfy chic” (sundresses, denim, and sneakers suggested).

Cropped black pants and a “vintage” DVF, flowy blouse that is orange/white & black sounds like a fabulous outfit for a rehearsal dinner. Since sneakers are comfy and suggested attire on the invitation why not wear them with your cropped black pants and blouse? A cardigan or lightweight jacket would be great for 60-degree weather.

What color shoes & jewelry can I wear to a wedding rehearsal dinner?
Your outfit for a wedding rehearsal dinner sounds awesome! Matching ivory color shoes will allow you to look stylish and to draw attention upward to your face area with a pair of stunning earrings. Experiment with some different earrings to get the look you want.

What can I wear with cropped flare pants to a wedding rehearsal dinner?
Cropped flare pants would look fabulous at a rehearsal dinner in Newport if they look good on you. They are longer than a culotte and shorter than your standard trouser. The most flattering length is just above the ankle. Cropped flare pants look best with short or tucked-in tops and highlight the shoes you are wearing. Wear with high heels to elongate your legs. If the rehearsal dinner is at a casual venue you can wear solid color or print cotton pants with an off-the-shoulder top and trendy sandals with low heels. If the rehearsal dinner is at a fancy restaurant you can choose a pair of pants and top in a dressy fabric and high heels. Add accessories that complement your outfit. The same color top and cropped flare pants will give you a taller look. Cropped flare pants are very trendy now but can be difficult to wear if you have short legs or big calves. They are more flattering on taller ladies.
