What is the latest bridal dress trend?

What is the latest bridal dress trend? What is the latest bridal dress trend? I am getting married in December and having a small wedding because of the Covid-19 virus.

Weddings have been much smaller since the Covid-19 virus since it is necessary to limit the number of guests. Smaller weddings tend to be more intimate family affairs. The latest bridal dress trend is a ready to wear or off the rack dress instead of a traditional wedding gown. Other hot trends are short and/or sustainable wedding dresses. Short dresses that are flattering can be a great investment so you can splurge when choosing your dress. Brides are choosing dresses that they can wear over again after the wedding saving hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Can brides wear black wedding dresses?
Black wedding dresses were the fashion during the second half of the 19th century when the color black was  fashionable. Today most brides choose to wear white dresses, the color that is most popular in Western cultures. However, colored wedding dresses are gaining in popularity and there is no rule that says you can’t wear the color dress you would like to on your wedding day. Your wedding day is your day and if you want to be different or have an original look you can wear a black wedding dress. You do not have to please anyone but yourself. Modern women set their own fashions. Possibly a black wedding dress has a practical advantage too, you would get more wearings out of a black gown than a white bridal gown.

What color nail polish should a bride wear?

A bride’s nail polish color is up to the bride. However pale colors such as light pinks, nudes, and metallics are the most popular nail polish colors for brides. Metallic (not too sparkly) polish with both gold and silver flecks look fabulous with all skin tones. Light purple/lilac polish is also always safe. It complements almost all skin tones. Reds and bold colors will draw attention to your nails and hands instead of to your face. Some brides consider the season that their wedding is being held when choosing their nail polish color. Cooler polish colors such as beige, cream, and light blues are popular in the winter. Warmer colors like pinks, corals, tans, and white are spring and summer favorites. A french manicure is another popular option.

Tip: Get your manicure the day before your wedding. If you are getting gel get your manicure two or three days before your wedding.
