Are open sleeves appropriate for a semi-formal wedding?

Are open sleeves appropriate for a semi-formal wedding? I’m going to a semi-formal cocktail wedding. My dress is purple with 3 1/4, open sleeves with rhinestone crisscrossed. Is this appropriate?
