Are furs out of style?

Are furs out of style? I have a few hand-me-down real mink, rabbit, & fox stoles that have been properly stored and still wearable, but do not want to cause an issue at my daughters wedding.  My daughter says to wear what I want.  Am I better off just buying a faux fur?

Furs such as mink are very luxurious and can can add a touch of class and elegance to your outfit. However a faux fur stole can be a more animal-friendly.

A fur stole can also keep you warm and cozy, especially if the wedding is in a cold or windy season. A fur stole can also be a statement piece, but it may attract attention and criticism from some people who are opposed to fur.

Ultimately, the decision is yours to make. Your daughter is leaving it up to you. You should wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. If I had a beautiful mink stole I would wear it. (How is anybody to know if it’s real or faux). Have a wonderful time at the wedding!

What Should the Mother of the Bride Wear?
The one given when deciding what to wear for your daughter’s wedding is that every MOB (Mother of the Bride) wants to look great. Your daughter is the center of attention on her wedding day but that doesn’t mean you can’t shine too. Mothers of Brides usually have the first choice when it comes to selecting an outfit for their daughter’s wedding but should let the Mother of the Groom in on what she is wearing if possible. A personal shopper/stylist at your favorite department store can help in selecting a MOB outfit.

Are wraps totally out of fashion for day wear?

Wraps/pashminas  are classic wardrobe staples. If they look stylish with what you are wearing you can wear them during the day. They are great when there is a coolness in the air but it’s too warm to wear a jacket or coat. They look very chic with suits, separates, or dresses during the daytime.
