Ankle boots look amazing! They can look fantastic with a professional outfit and can be worn when going for a job interview. That being said the goal for a job interview is to make a great first impression. When putting your outfit together it should look professional.

For a banking or investment job, it’s definitely better to stay on the conservative side of footwear. As far as a casual workplace it is better to dress more formally than too casually for an interview. Ankle boots look great with pants, a blouse topped with a sweater or jacket for a job interview. If you want to wear them with a skirt or dress you can wear them with tights. If you are wearing a dress without tights be sure your hem line is at your knee or longer for a professional appearance. Choose ankle boots simple in style, with closed toes for a job interview and be sure they are clean, polished, and in good repair.
