2022 Bridal Wear Trends!

2022 bridal wear is more relaxed, less formal, modern and comfortable. Some fabric trends are lace, tulle (stiff & soft), taffeta and voiles. Smocking and shirring are popular on wedding dresses also this season.

Styles with puff sleeves (that can be detached), long sleeves, one shouldered dresses, jumpsuits, tuxedo suits, halterneck dresses and lighter, flowy ball gowns are popular this year. Brides are wearing modern and fun accessories with traditional wedding gowns.

As far as lengths go some are long, some short and the mini skirt is popular. 2022 is about expressing your individuality and personal taste.

Big veils and bucket style and pillbox hats (with birdcage veils) and black accents are trends this year.

Another big trend is mix and match separates that can be styled in different ways and worn post wedding.

Then there is the “Bridal Capsule Wardrobe” or clothes to wear over the wedding weekend events. The night before, during the ceremony, the reception, suitable for dancing, and the following day.
