What tops flatter women with big busts?
What tops flatter women with big busts? I’m an hourglass body type – heavier chest and a slim waist. I’ve tried to dress according to my body type, but as much as I would love to wear slim fits that accentuate my figure, I just can’t get over my insecurity and discomfort of my heavier chest. (My bust size is 36 inches and my waist is 26 inches).
Big busts, an hourglass body type are the envy of most of us. A well fitted bra is a most important element. Have regular bra fittings since our bodies are always changing. Sports bras or minimizer bras are made to slightly compress the breast tissue and give a more smooth balanced appearance.
V-neck or scoop neck tops and lower necklines are better than high necklines for large breasted women. They give you an big busts an elongated look.
Wrap style tops define the waistline and provide a fitted look while offering coverage and support for big busts.
Fitted, tailored or structured tops with darts or seams that can offer shaping and minimize the focus on the bust are fabulous on big busted divas.
Belted tops or peplum style tops are also flattering on large busted gals.
Avoid tops in bulky fabrics, or pockets, ruffles or any details on your top that draws attention to your bust area.
Wearing a flattering hairstyle and makeup and statement earrings will draw attention upward away from your body.

“V” necklines are not only flattering on everyone they are beautiful and can be sexy too. A necklace such as a pendant that hangs down in the V of the neckline repeating the V design is so chic. From a design standpoint, it is the perfect necklace for V necklines. Pendants come in different lengths. Short pendants can work if they fit in the V of the neckline. The closer the pendant hangs down to the V of the neckline the sexier it is. Longer pendants draw the focus to your cleavage.
