What to pack for Italy in the summer?

Summer is a wonderful time of the year to visit Italy. The weather varies and can be comfortable to walk around in or hot when visiting sites and different cities. Check the weather forecast in the cities you will visit before you go and pack accordingly.

Wash and wear and light weight clothing such as cotton or linen shorts, pants, skirts and/or dresses are perfect for sightseeing in Italy with comfortable walking shoes.

You have to have arms covered when visiting churches so bring a silk or cotton pashmina to wear over sleeveless or tank tops. Check the dress codes for specific sights if in doubt

Women wear everything when traveling today and reveal their tattoos and upper body development. Whites,  bright colors and prints are very popular. Sandals and sneakers are the preferred footwear and the many tourists are wearing big hats for sun protection.
