What are the hottest colors for 2016?

The hottest colors for 2016 are pink and light blue. They have been named “Rose Quartz” called “Serenity” by Pantone, the color authority. Pantone talks to decorators and fashion designers, retailers and manufacturers each year to find out what colors they are planning to use and then they come up with a color forecast. For the year 2016 Pantone picked two colors, instead of one, for the first time ever. These two colors are both pastels and often are paired together. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone’s Color Institute describes these two colors as “inducing feelings of stability, constancy, comfort and relaxation”.
