Can I wear a lace dress to a bridal shower / wine tasting? The shower is being held in Wisconsin in mid August. I am the Mother of the Groom & I plan to wear nude patent sandals, diamond tennis bracelet & studs.
A bridal shower / wine tasting sounds like a fun theme for a party. If this event is being held in the evening and in a venue such as a restaurant, club or something similar, a lace dress should be appropriate. A lace dress is dressy and makes a statement. Nude patent sandals and diamond stud earrings will be perfect accessories with a lace dress. You don’t need any other jewelry. Before you decide what to wear, check with the Bride-to-Be to get an idea what the dress code is. You want to be dressed appropriately to make a good impression and please your future daughter in law.
