The floral trend is one of the hottest fashion trends for Spring/Summer but always in style. Fresh and feminine gardens of flowers are blooming on everything. Flowers in bright bold colors, in every size and a number of varieties cover runway collections for Spring and Summer. Printed florals, embroidered greenery, ruched chiffon flowers, appliquéd flowers, plus sequined and beaded flowers are everywhere.

Wearing the floral trend has to do with proportion like wearing other prints. Small women look better in tiny floral prints but can sometimes pull off wearing medium size florals on maxi dresses.

Huge prints are more difficult to look stylish in since they add weight on everyone. However if you have an area that you want to appear larger a medium size print in that area will do the trick. For example a medium size printed top will enhance your bust size or a medium size printed skirt or pants will add weight in the hip area.

If you don’t want to wear a print article of clothing floral trend accessories are one way to go. Floral printed shoes, belts and handbags will update any outfit or a bright color floral scarf can add a POP of color to one of your classics.

For the beach a pair of floral printed shorts say cool! A floral maxi is perfect for summer parties and a skirt or dress is a classic that you can wear anytime.

You can wear florals to the office in classic styles so you don’t look to girly. A man’s style shirt, in a small floral print with a pencil skirt or pants, can look professional.  Top off a solid color sheath dress with a floral blazer and you can go to a meeting.
