Trends to Invest in for Fall
Trends to invest in for fall 2015. Fashion is one way to express yourself, express your feelings, and communicate with others. Women are setting their own fashion trends today and creating their own style. However designers continue to promote certain looks each season. Incorporate any of these fall runway trends into your wardrobe for an updated and chic look.
Unstructured Bags – Unstructured bags are hot this Fall. They are soooo soft, feminine and ladylike. Slouchy colorful bags in suede or buttery leather will add a POP of color to your classic neutrals. Choose from bucket bags, hobos and soft tote bags. A style with shine or fringe will be a perfect addition. Wear with gloves to make a statement.
Patchwork – When we think of patchwork we think of beautiful patchwork quilts made from pieces of cloth of different colors and shapes that are sewn together in different patterns. This fall patchwork has moved into our closet. Their are dresses, skirts, jackets, coats and shoes in fabulous patchwork patterns and color combinations. Two examples of the fall patchwork trend pictured are the Valentino floral-print patchwork voile dress above and the stylish ankle boot.
Pleats – Proenza Schouler, Tommy Hilfiger and Christian Dior showed pleated skirts in their fall collections. Pleated skirts are classic, feminine, swingy, energetic and youthful. Pleats look good worn with something neat and uncluttered up top – a shirt or simple T-shirt and blazer. Keep the silhouette clean. With bare legs they look fab with sporty sneakers and when the temperatures drops wear a pleated skirt with tights and ankle booties. A modern skirt or dress trend has carwash pleats.
Fringe – Fringe fashion is a necessary must have. We have the fringe shoe, fringed jackets, fringe skirts and handbags with fringe. This fall anything with fringe is a statement piece.
Fur Trim – Fur trim adds a touch of luxury to any outfit. It looks fabulous on collars of coats, dresses, and sweaters. Accessories with trim also add style to hats, cloves and shawls.
