Tips: Selecting A Wedding Dress
Selecting A Wedding Dress
Wedding days are so very special and brides want to look beautiful and have an awesome day. Once the wedding date is decided on and the bride knows what time of the year and where the ceremony will be held, she can determine a budget for her outfit. Only then can she begin to focus on the dress she will wear. Where she will find her dream dress varies today. There are so many choices from online boutiques, sample gowns, used / vintage gowns or brand NEW dresses.
Before she starts shopping she should identify her figure type so that she can choose the style dress that flatters her body type. Avoid trendy styles that don’t flatter.
1 Try on a few different styles of wedding dresses to decide what styles flatter and look best.
2 Decide on color; white, cream, pastel or other.
3 Look for dresses with detail near the neckline that draw attention upward toward the face area.
4 With simple gowns draw attention upward with statement earrings or other jewelry that works with the dress.
5 When deciding on size, opt for 1 size larger, it is easier to take in a dress than let one out.
6 Try dresses on with shoes with the heel height planed to wear with the dress.
7 Shop early since wedding gowns are custom-made and delivery time may vary 3 months to ??.
8 Make an appointment to shop at a store, bridal boutique or bridal department. Weekdays are usually less crowded and early in the day when all are fresh is preferable.
9 She should only purchase the dress she LOVES!
