What style shoe can I wear with a pareo or sarong?
A pareo or sarong is the must have cover up for beach and/or pool events. It is definitely an investment piece for warm weather casual dress codes. Pareos and sarongs come in different lengths and fabrics and can be styled/wrapped in many different ways.
The style of footwear to wear with a pareo or sarong depends on how and where you wear it. When you wear your wrap to the beach flip-flops or no shoes are the way to go. Longer styles can be worn with wedge style shoes or sandals, with or without heels, to complete an outfit.
If you wrap a short pareo as a skirt and pair it with a classic white shirt or tee for some shopping you can choose flats, sandals, sneakers or a wedge style shoe. Of course anything goes!
Top with a floppy straw hat! If you don’t have one think about adding one for your summer wardrobe, a cruise or a warm weather getaway.
