The Style Icon

A few weeks ago I got the opportunity to attend a lovely fashion show in Benicia, California with, the style icon, Patricia Field. The show featured some amazing designers two of which had been contestants on Project Runway. I was so excited to be able to see some amazing designs by some iconic people. But the shows headliner is an inspiration to both fashion enthusiasts and anybody who is anybody in the fashion industry. The audience was graced by the presence of the impressive Patricia Field.

Patricia Field, costume designer, fashion designer, stylist and of course ultimate style icon has helped women who may or may not have been into fashion really start thinking more creatively about how they dress. She worked with Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex in the City as well as on the movie The Devil Wears Prada, but enough about that, let’s get real. What I enjoy most about the legendary Ms. Field is her ability to create looks individually, tell a story with her designs, and create a unique style sense for the women lucky enough to be able to be dressed by her. You know the cast of Sex In the City. So when I came upon her site I got even more amazed by its edgyness, humor, and take on current trends. Once again I was blown away! These fashion inspirations can be worn by anyone willing to be sporty and wild as well as stay on trend and have fun doing so. With the help of a fabulous design team, Patricia Field continues to be unique, fun, outrageous, and nothing less than iconic. But then anything less would be below this fashion diva’s standards.
