Is stone color too light for a Mother of the Bride’s dress? I’ve purchased a dress for my daughters wedding in a color they call “stone”. It’s lovely & my daughter likes it.

A stone color (light gray) dress should be perfect for your daughter’s wedding. The fact that your daughter seems to like it means it is fine to wear. You can wear silver closed toe slingback shoes with sheer light gray or neutral color stockings with it and you’ll look very elegant.
