Should I wear silver or gold jewelry? I am going to semi formal event. I am wearing a long, black, sleeveless dress with green shoes and green bag. My makeup will also depend on my jewelry.

Wearing silver or gold jewelry is a personal decision. There is no right or wrong choice. Generally, if you have a warm skin tone gold might look best. If your skin tone is cool, silver, platinum, and white gold might look best. If you think you can wear either metal (neutral skin tone) choose the jewelry you love the most.

If your green shoes or green bag have gold or silver trim go with the trim color on your accessories.
