A short woman can easily be cut in half and appear shorter wearing anything wide around her waist. Definitely avoid this corset trend if you are under 5′ 2″.  If you are 5″2″ and thin you can probably wear the corset trend and look stylish. Since a corset worn on the outside of your clothing will draw attention to your waist area avoid this trend if you are thick around the middle. Keep in mind you don’t have to wear trends to look stylish. Wear clothing that fits and flatters your figure type and that is appropriate for the activity you are going to do or the event you plan to attend. Update your look with accessories such as hats, bags, jewelry and or scarves.
