Am I too short to wear gray knee high boots?
Am I too short to wear gray knee high boots? I am only 5’3″ and receive a lot of criticism when I wear them.
Gray knee-high boots can make you look shorter unless you wear them with a monochromatic gray colored outfit. A monochromatic outfit would be a one color outfit in one shade of gray or different shades of gray. A gray dress or gray skirt with a gray top, gray tights and gray boots would work for someone your height. Also if your boots have heels they will make you look taller and slimmer with an all gray outfit. This could be stylish looking on a short person. If you want to wear your gray boots but don’t have gray clothes you might want to invest in a few pieces of clothing in gray and you will have a chic outfit.

Knee high and over the knee boots have been very stylish for a number of years. Anything goes today when it comes to fashion if it looks flattering on you. That being said fashion is subjective. Personally I think high boots look fabulous with sleeveless dresses if they are not heavy-looking boots. Looking at outfits with boots, the outfits with sleeves look more chic with a variety of boot styles. Ankle boots or ankle shoes are very chic with sleeveless dresses.
Scarves and Boots in Utrecht
Scarves and Boots in Utrecht. After traveling around Belgium and the Netherlands it is apparent that two must have fashion essentials are scarves and boots. Most of these Utrecht street fashions were taken in the fourth biggest city in the Netherlands. Utrecht is a medieval city ringed by a moat and crisscrossed by scenic canals. This city is a university town with a lot of young people contributing to its vibrancy. Utrecht was bustling while we were there. Shops were full of shoppers rummaging through racks of clothes in trendy shops like H&M, Zara and other stores found in the USA. Slim pants and jeans are favorites. Some skirts are evident and just about everything is being worn with boots, ankle boots or sport shoes.
