Shoes That Rock, Trainers
Shoes That Rock, Trainers
Trainers are atheletc shoes that rock. Designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel and Raf Simons, Dior, sent models down their runways wearing trainers with couture fashions the last several seasons. Now they have become an established trend.
It is common now to see women wearing them to work if their office has a flexable dress code. They can project a modern look. However be sure that they look new when you wear them to the office. If you work in a bank or law firm save your sneakers to wear on the weekends. Trainers are especially stylish with pants. Younger girls with nice figures can wear them with short skirts.
Popular this spring are trainers in feminine colors, classic white, color blocking, floral prints and monochrome tomboy styles. Sneakers in lace, sequins, metallic leather and jeweled are being worn by fashion divas to evening events.
Trainers are very difficult for most women to pull off and look chic. The safest way to wear them is with shorts, jeans, pants, leggings or tights. If a trend doesn’t look flattering on you skip it!

Packs and Sneaks
Two of the hottest accessory trends are packs and sneaks. This Fall Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Reebok (to name a few) have been stylishly ordained “chic” along with their partners in crime the backpack. Why you might ask? I’d like to say it is based on pure function and simplicity but of course it isn’t. Long gone are the days where running shoes are simply for just that- running! Ha Haaa! Oh no wait minute let’s scratch that perhaps they are for running and maybe even function. Wouldn’t every fashion muse want to prance around town looking devilishly cool? Inspiring the not so fashion person to say-where’d she get that and I want one too. The bottom line packs and sneaks aren’t just for back to school…let’s just say they are back to cool.
