Meghan Markle a Breath of Fresh Air
Meghan Markle is well grounded and well-rounded woman. She was raised in LA by an African-American, mother, who is a social worker. Her father is a white TV lighting director. Her parents were divorced when she was a young child. Meghan studied theater and international relations at Northwestern University, which included an internship at the US embassy in Buenos Aires. She was the first person in her family to graduate from college.
Meghan loves working and her hard work has paid off. She has appeared in General Hospital, Without a Trace, Fringe, The League, CSI: Miami—as well as a host of films. Her real break came when she was cast in a leading role on Suits in 2011, as paralegal Rachel Zane. Suits, a surprise-hit series on the USA Network, is now in its seventh season. It is a melodrama about an US law firm.
The 36-year-old philanthropist already has a profile of charitable campaigning. Her Humanitarian work listed on Wikipedia credits Markle as a counselor for international charity One Young World and traveling to Afghanistan and Spain as part of the USO Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Holiday Tour. In 2016, Markle became a global ambassador for World Vision Canada, traveled to Rwanda for the Clean Water Campaign, the agency’s campaign to provide safe, clean drinking water and went to India to raise awareness of issues concerning women. She has also worked with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women as an Advocate. Markle again attended the One Young World summit in 2016. Luckily she has experience with the media since she will be followed continuously by photographers and journalists in her new role.
Already Markle has the fashionista’s following what she wears. She has the power to lift brands and has already boosted sales of clothing she has been wearing such as sunglasses with tortoise shell frames, black Hunter boots, a waxed cotton Barbour and the white jacket she wore for her engagement photo-call.
