Can I wear a linen dress to a September wedding?

A linen dress is perfect in September. Linen is a beautiful, breathable textile and was once considered a summer fabric not worn before Memorial Day or after Labor Day. Things have changed and common sense rules and/or there are no hard and fast rules anymore. September has some very warm temperatures and a linen dress would be on-trend for a wedding. Linens come in different weight fabrics and heavier weight linens are wearable right into late fall. Traditional fall colors such khaki, navy, brown, or black are chic in the fall but wearing a bold color today is very much in style.

Style a  linen dress with an animal print bag, pumps or sandals for fall. Bone or metallic ankle shoes would be great in September with a linen dress. Wear your linen dress in September with confidence and enjoy!
