Krakow Fashion
Krakow fashion is abundant in the lively main square. Ladies in Eastern Europe love looking stylish. When we visited Krakow in late October the weather was cold. Women were bundled up to keep warm but the cold weather doesn’t keep them inside. Animal print clothing and accessories are hot. Boots are the preferred footwear. Whether ankle boots, knee high boots or over the knee boots they are wearing them in Krakow. Athletic shoes might be considered runner ups in the footwear category. Slim leg pants, ( The Polish girls love denim jeans.) leggings and colored tights are the popular legwear. Woolen pea coats, nylon puffers (jackets and coats), some leather jackets and fake fur vests were keeping the women warm. Scarves and gloves are necessary style items to keep the cold out and add a touch of chic!
If you are planning to visit Krakow the street fashion photos below show what females are wearing.
Places to visit when in Krakow are Wawel Castle, the home of Polish Monarchs from the eleventh to the seventeenth centuries, and the Wieliczka Salt Mine which began operations somewhere in the year 1040. The city has beautiful churches, great shopping, and art. The German concentration camps, Auschwitz and Birkenau are also worth visiting for a learning and better understanding of history.
