Golden Globes Fashion 2019
Lady Gaga
Golden Globes Fashion was amazing. Lady Gaga wore a drop dead gorgeous blue dress designed by Valentino. The strapless gown featured puffed off-the-shoulder sleeves and a massive long train. She wore the Tiffany Aurora necklace featuring 300 diamonds, that had a 20-carat pear-shaped diamond in the center worth $5 million. Her hair color matched the icy-blue color of her dress. Is she starting a new trend, matching color hair?

Constance Wu’s nude, tulle, A-line spaghetti strap gown by Vera Wang had a look of intimate apparel with a bustier looking top. The orange velvet belt gave the dress a POP of color. Messika jewels accessorized her outfit. Lupita Nyong’o was wearing a Calvin Klein by Appointment, high in the front and low back dress, in a bold blue color with Bulgari jewelry.

A couple of other notables were Gemma Chan in a Valentino Haute Couture gown with shorts (a hot trend this spring) with Christian Louboutin shoes and Kiki Layne in a Dior Haute Couture dress with a bustier top and Bulgari jewelry.

Of course there were many more beautiful women and gowns at the Golden Globe Awards and a few ugly get ups to put it frankly. Elizabeth Moss’s dress was too short in my opinion. Knees are not beautiful! Claire Foy looked dumpy in her Miu Miu dress and Catherine Zeta-Jones’s Elie Saab dress had too much going on. Of course fashion is subjective and I am in the simple clean line classic camp.
