How can I wear gloves in the summer or warm weather?
How can I wear gloves in the summer or warm weather? I have eczema on my hands and wearing gloves makes my life easier both physically and psychologically. It’s relatively easier to combine gloves in winter/autumn time, but in spring/summer (or indoors in any season) I have no idea how to wear gloves without looking like just came from the 1950s. My style is feminine, but very basic and effortless, wearing gloves all the time attracts people’s attention which is something I don’t like.
Having eczema on your hands sounds challenging. Definitely, it is easier to look chic wearing gloves in cold weather but gloves can be worn all year round and for all occasions. There are no rules about what to wear today. Think about creating your own personal style wearing gloves. It is chic to wear gloves with UVA and UVB sun protection at any time of the year.
Short, light color, and pastel color cotton gloves that fit look nice with summer clothing. If you go to formal events you can wear long gloves and look like a fashionista.
Wear a hat or visor that match the color of your gloves. Style gloves with scarves and/or your belt color. Simple style gloves are awesome with tailored clothes or casual outfits. If you want to express your femininity you can look at lacy or decorative gloves in fabrics that don’t irritate your skin.
If you haven’t already, explore ideas with your dermatologist.
Tip: You do not have to remove gloves when shaking hands.

How can one develop a signature style of their own?
One can develop a signature style of their own by wearing clothing that flatters their figure type and that suits their lifestyle and age. Once one determines what looks best on them they can build their wardrobe with those styles and begin to develop a style of your own. Time and experimentation trying different style clothes on and checking in the mirror will help. Another way to set yourself apart is to use an accessory to personalize your look. Anna Wintour (pictured), the editor of Vogue, wears sunglasses and Madeline Albright wears big pins (brooches). A particular style of handbag, bright color scarves, jewelry or interesting hosiery (if you want to draw attention to your legs) will work also.
Madeline Albright Creates A Personal Style
Read My Pins was an exhibit of the former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. Her collection consists of over 200+ brooches/pins. The Madeline Albright exhibition examined the collection’s historic significance and demonstrates the power of jewelry to be “ice breakers,” convey and/or communicate messages in social and political situations and create a personal style.
