A dark charcoal gray suit would be a better choice than a light chocolate-brown suit for a formal wedding. Weddings are to celebrate. You want to send the message that you understand proper attire, show respect for the couple getting married and look your best. A wedding being held at an exclusive private yacht club sounds like an awesome celebration. Check with other friends going to the wedding to find out if they will be wearing a tuxedo or dark suit to the event. If you need to purchase a new suit, a dark suit is a great investment and you will have it for many years.
