Tips for Younger Looking Skin

For younger looking skin we need to have healthy beautiful skin or create the illusion that we have clear beautiful skin with the application of make up. Aging skin is caused by sun exposure, stress, poor diet, smoking and genetics. We can control all of these except genetics.

Sun exposure can be reduced by staying out of the sun during peak times (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM), wearing hats, visors, clothing and sun glasses with UV protection, and using sun block* creams on our skin.

Stress can be managed also.  Exercise such as yoga, walking, dancing, tennis, golf, etc. can reduce stress.

Diets can be improved and will result in healthy beautiful skin.  Foods like fish, dark green vegetables, whole grain cereals, eggs, olive oil and monounsaturated fat, nuts, legumes, low-fat dairy, tea, water, and dark-colored fruits are said to be wrinkle reducers. We can increase the number of these foods that we eat.

Smoking is a no brainer. Not a healthy habit. If you smoke STOP. You might improve your health, live longer and achieve younger looking skin.
