Enhance your hair for the holidays. Color or anything that glistens and shines is très “in style” this season. The holidays are a great time to experiment with everything colorful and sparkly. Whether you are young or older, have short or long hair, or colored hair glam it up for holiday parties.

Hair accessories in metallic say party time without looking like you are trying too hard. There are a number of metallic and crystal hair pins or hair clips to choose from.

Another option is gold or silver sparkle hair spray. Use as much or as little as you want for some holiday glitz. Your local beauty store should have it or be getting it for the holidays. A great way to shine, and not over do it, when going out to dinner or a holiday celebration.

There are a number of ways to add hair color(s) (pink, blue, green, orange & purple) that wash out if you don’t like how they look. Before you buy start by visiting your local beauty store to see what’s available and get more info then check the Internet. Once you choose the color you like, bring the color you want to try into your hairdresser and he or she can show you how to use it. Then go home and have some fun experimenting. Use small amounts that are very subtle or go wild and have some fun with larger amounts of color. Believe it or not many colors are inexpensive so have some fun playing.

Tinsel is another way to add glitter and color (silver, gold and/or a color) to your hair. The photo above shows silver tinsel in the model’s hair and it looks awesome but supposedly not easy to do. Possibly you can ask a friend to help or get it done at your hair salon.
