Cathie Wood was born in 1955 and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in LA and then graduated summa cum laude from University of Southern California with a B.S. degree in finance and economics. She has 2 daughters and a son. She is divorced from Robert Wood, who died in 2018. 

If you read the newspaper or access the news on any other media the name Cathie Wood has popped up. There is not too much about Cathie’s personal life out there but many articles and videos about Cathie’s company ARK Investment Management. She is considered one of the world’s best stock pickers and innovative thinkers. 

After working for more than 30 years for a number of compaies in finance Cathie founded Ark Investment. Ark is known for investing in disruptive technologies or technologies that potentially can change the way the world works. Ark has 4 active ETF”s: ARKK, ARKW, ARKQ and AEKW and 2 Index ETFs: PRNT and IZRL. Ark is one of the fastest-growing and top-performing investment firms in the world.
