Can you look chic wearing overalls?
Overalls are back! They are comfortable and casual. Overalls or dungarees have been associated with work clothes in the past. They were worn to protect workers. Women began wearing denim (work) overalls, during World War I and World War II , when working in agriculture and factories. Now overalls have become fashionable and come in different fabrics, short and long styles and different colors and prints. They are youthful looking and are favorites of younger divas.
Pair them with a plaid or stripe shirt or a blouse in a floral print for a feminine look. Add heels and jewelry for a dressier look.
