What can I wear to an outside wedding in Colorado? The temperture is around 40 degrees followed by an indoor reception. I want to look nice & not be freezing.

Burr…… an outside wedding at 40 degrees sounds cold. You want to dress up for the wedding reception but stay warm during the outdoor ceremony. Pants will keep your legs warm outside. You can wear dressy pants and a dressy top or a cocktail style dress with tights or stockings. Boots can be worn during the outside ceremony then you can remove them when going indoors for the reception if you prefer to wear shoes. Top off your outfit with a coat, scarf, and hat. A wool or faux fur maxi coat will keep you warm for the outside ceremony no matter what you decide to wear for the inside reception.
