An off the shoulder dress is so “au courant”! Off the shoulder styles have been infiltrating designer collections for several seasons and have reached a boiling point, they are hot. Are off the shoulder style dresses appropriate for the wedding guest? It depends on the style (limited skin showing) and how it looks on you. An off the shoulder dress should reach around the knees or longer to look stylish. There are some styles that will look good for a wedding but there are many that look too sexy to be in good taste for a wedding. Remember you are not supposed to steal the show from the bride.
