“Casual Friday” clothing varies from office to office, business to business and / or type of business. Since you are just starting to work for a new company ask HR or one of the employees what is appropriate work attire for “casual Friday”. If you can’t discover the “casual Friday” dress code, error on the conservative side. If jeans are appropriate at your work place they should fit well (not too baggy or too tight) and dark colors are more professional. Distressed jeans do not look business like. To ramp up your look wear your jeans with a crisp shirt style blouse or good-looking cotton tee, blazer and metallic or colored shoes (flats or heels). Always avoid any clothing that shows too much skin and save flip flops for the beach.
