Can a wedding guest wear a metallic dress?
A wedding guest can wear a metallic dress to a wedding if it is in good taste. Good taste means not too tight, too short or to low-cut in the neckline. Anything overtly sexy is inappropriate for a wedding guest. Metallic or shiny is a hot fashion trend but metallic clothing spotlights you. If you are in doubt about wearing a particular item of clothing to a wedding it’s best not to wear it. A little metallic goes a long way. If you would be uncomfortable wearing a metallic dress you can always accessorize a more conservative or classic dress with metallic shoes and /or a metallic clutch. If you are the bride you want the attention on you and most of the time guests are focused on the bride, her dress, hair and other details like her jewelry, etc.
Tip: when wearing a metallic dress tone down your makeup and accessories.
