Moccasins continue to be an urban shoe trend. They are soft leather shoes, originating among North American Indians. Different tribes had/have different styles of moccasins. In general  moccasins are a heelless style shoe usually made from deerskin or leather. Moccasins are comfortable, light weight, slip on shoes. Fashion divas in cities are choosing to have a more covered up shoe than open style sandals or heavier looking trendy sneakers.
