Trench coats are classics and designers have been updating them for spring. Some are fashioned in new fabrics such as transparent/see through fabrics. Some are styled with corset belts or other fashion details. If you need to get a light weight coat think a plaid or colored trench if you don’t want to go over the top trendy.
If you don’t have any florals in your closet yet, this would be an opportunity to add some flowers and tropical prints. A floral blazer is very practical piece to have in your wardrobe. You can wear a blazer over a dress, with separates like skirts and pants or go for glam with a maxi or an evening dress. Floral shorts and pants are fun too as the weather warms up.
You can get on the fashion band wagon by mixing and matching articles of clothing. Pair a floral with a stripe or plaid for an edgy look.
